Eremine Holdings, LLC (EIN 36-5059758), a Delaware limited liability company operating the VettaLux platform ("VettaLux", "we", "us") operates this policy.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (pixels, local storage, SDKs) work the same way. This policy describes the categories of cookies used on VettaLux, why we use them, how long they last, and how you can control them.
2. How We Ask for Consent
The first time you visit VettaLux we show a consent banner. Strictly Necessary cookies are always on because the site will not function without them. All other categories are off by default in regions that require opt-in consent, and you can change your choices at any time from the footer link "Cookie preferences". Your choice is stored in a single first-party preference record (vettalux-consent-v1) so we do not re-prompt on every visit.
We honor the Do Not Track (DNT) header and the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: when either is detected we treat it as an opt-out of Performance/Analytics and Targeting/Advertising cookies.
3. Cookie Categories
Strictly Necessary
Purpose: authentication, session continuity, security (CSRF protection), load balancing, remembering your cookie choices.
Examples: first-party session and security cookies set by VettaLux.
Retention: session to 12 months.
Opt-out: cannot be disabled without breaking the site. You can clear them via your browser at any time.
Performance & Analytics
Purpose: understand which pages are used, measure load times and errors, improve reliability.
Examples: Google Analytics (_ga, _gid), Vercel Analytics.
Retention: up to 24 months.
Opt-out: toggle off in our consent banner, or block via your browser.
Functional
Purpose: remember preferences such as language, saved searches, recently viewed pros, and accessibility settings.
Examples: first-party preference cookies and local storage set by VettaLux.
Retention: up to 12 months.
Opt-out: toggle off in our consent banner. Some personalized features will not work.
Targeting & Advertising
Purpose: measure the effectiveness of VettaLux marketing, and, where we run advertising campaigns, show more relevant ads on partner sites.
Examples: Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag (only loaded if you accept this category).
Retention: up to 13 months.
Opt-out: toggle off in our consent banner, or use your browser / device ad-tracking controls.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties that we use as service providers. Where those providers process personal data on our behalf we have a written processor agreement with them. We do not sell personal information. Typical third parties include our analytics provider, our content-delivery and hosting provider, and, where applicable, our advertising measurement partners.
5. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers also let you block third-party cookies by default. Links: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Disabling Strictly Necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and break parts of the site.
6. Changes to This Policy
We will update this page when we add, remove, or materially change the cookies we use. Material changes will be surfaced through the consent banner and through the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
