Review Policy

Reviews are the foundation of trust on our platform. We take extraordinary measures to ensure every review is authentic, fair, and tied to a real service experience.
1. Review Types & Trust Weight

2. Review Guidelines
All reviews must be based on an actual service experience. Reviewers should provide honest, factual feedback about the service received. Reviews should include:
- A rating from 1 to 5 stars
- A description of the service performed
- Specific details about quality, professionalism, timeliness, and value
3. Fraud Detection
VettaLux employs a multi-signal automated fraud detection system that evaluates every review before publication. Our system checks for:
- IP clustering: Multiple reviews from the same IP for the same provider
- Review velocity: 5+ reviews for the same provider within 24 hours triggers a full hold
- Duplicate content: Reviews matching existing content by >70% are flagged
- Reviewer verification: Phone-unverified or first-time reviewers receive additional scrutiny
- Timing anomalies: Reviews submitted within 60 seconds of account verification are delayed 24 hours
- Provider-reviewer IP match: Auto-flagged as high priority for human review
Reviews with a fraud score above 0.7 are held for human moderation. Reviews above 0.9 are held and the provider is notified.
4. Dispute Process
Providers may dispute published reviews through our formal dispute process:
- Filing window: Within 30 days of publication
- Evidence collection: 7-day period for both parties
- Admin decision: Within 14 days of evidence close
- Active dispute limit: Maximum 3 at any time per provider
- Abuse monitoring: Providers who consistently abuse disputes are flagged
5. Prohibited Content
- Hate speech, threats, or personal attacks
- Content not related to the service experience
- Spam, advertising, or promotional content
- Personally identifying information (addresses, SSNs, etc.)
- Defamatory statements that cannot be verified
- Reviews solicited through incentives (discounts, gifts, etc.)
